Fund Raisers, Benefit Concerts and Happy Holidays

Over the years, Play It For Good has been involved in fund raisers and benefit concerts in the South Jersey, New York City, Long Island, and Connecticut areas.  We help in various capacities, including planning, organizing, providing performers, and discussing non-profit 501(c)(3) issues.  Play It For Good also plans entire benefit concerts from time to time.

Please be on the lookout for another benefit concert -- fully planned by Play It For Good -- in the near future.  The goal is to encourage volunteerism in our society -- especially in our youth -- and raise funds for good causes.

Have a great holiday season -- and a happy new year!

Haddonfield Online: Musical fundraiser for Mia was well-attended

Excerpt:
An appreciative audience enjoyed a concert at the Presbyterian Church on Saturday (April 24), held to help the Strobel family meet the costs of caring for their seven-year-old daughter, Mia, who is battling both leukemia and a heart condition.

The concert was sponsored by Play It For Good, a local non-profit organization that seeks to enable young artists who want to "do good" to participate in fundraising efforts for worthy causes.

Excerpt:
Haddonfield isn’t just a town, it is a community; a community of very friendly people; Its residents were very interested in learning all about The Kindness Bus Tour. I must have had thirty long conversations with people from the area. I got a sense after awhile, that this community is involved in many ways of reaching out to those in need. Visiting Haddonfield, needs to be on everyone’s bucket list.

We are looking for talented young musicians who want to give back to our community. We normally work with high school aged musicians, but also work with talented musicians of any age.

If you live in Cherry Hill, Haddonfield, Voorhees, Moorestown -- or other nearby areas -- and want to be a part of something good, please check out
